Wenesday night Bible Study
The Letter to the Philippians
The Letter to the Phillippians
Paul’s letter to the Philippians is a deep and hopeful book of the Bible. Abounding in rich theological themes of Spirit-given joy, heavenly hope, Church unity, and imitating Godly examples, the Book of Philippians has a word of encouragement, and admonishment for us all.
Whether you are new to the faith or a seasoned Christian, we invite you to join us in meditating on God’s Word this season every Wednesday night.
Questions to answer this season
- Who should we imitate and learn from in our Christian walk?
- How does our heavenly citizenship change how we live in this world?
- Where do we find a wellspring of joy in these dark times?
- How can the Church spread light to the world through suffering?
“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.” -Philippians 4:8-9
