Ministering to Children

At Courtland Baptist Church it is our mission to raise up a new generation that will worship Jesus. We whole-heartedly believe that it is our responsibility to train and disciple all children who are included in our Church family and evangelize to those who are outside.

| Wednesday Night Children’s Hang out|

On Wednesday during the Men & Women Bible studies at 6:30 PM children from ages 4-12 are invited to hangout in the Youth Room which is located in the Old Chapel (right side of the building). There they will get to play various games in a relaxed environment and be given an opportunity to hear a Bible lesson.

“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate” – Psalm 127:3-5

“Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them. – Mark 10:14-16

|Sunday Worship Services|

During our main service there is a moment to bless our children and ask God for his grace on their lives. Following the blessing, children from ages 4-12 are welcomed to follow the Children’s Church teacher to the fellowship hall (behind the sanctuary) for their own unique Bible study. We do not require children to participate in Children’s Church and all children are more than welcomed to remain with their parents during the main service.
