Ministering to Women
We know that being a woman in this world comes with its own unique challenges and struggles. At Courtland Baptist Church we seek to minister to women of all ages and point them to Christ as our salvation and defender. We want to encourage women to embrace the struggles of life, whether it is work, family, or anything else, with a hope set upon Christ our savior. Join us on Wednesday nights for Bible Study, Sunday mornings for Worship and the Word, and other times for special events for encouragement and discipleship in the faith.
| Wednesday Night Bible Studies |
Join us every Wednesday night to open the Scriptures and reflect upon the Gospel and God’s calling for our lives. We are currently reading through the Book of Elijah and thinking through God’s message to Israel and what it means for us living in the 21st century…
for ourselves, our families, and our community.
“Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.” – 1 Peter 3:3-4
“Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.” – Proverbs 31:30-31
